Mina, Lab Technician
My name is Mina and I work for a pharmaceutical company as a lab technician. My work often means I am working early in the mornings or late into the evenings, long after most of my colleagues have left. Often I am working around the site taking samples. My role is such that if people don’t see me for a long period of time, they just assume I am in the lab, or in another part of the factory.
Due to the nature of our work, certain areas, such as next to the industrial ovens, carry a risk of explosion meaning only ATEX rated equipment is allowed. Thankfully my LONEALERT Protector ATEX meets the required standards and so I am able to just pick it up out of its trickle charge dock, where it charges fully overnight, and wear it wherever I go. This gives me peace of mind that even if I am working in an area with very low footfall, should I have an incident my colleagues will be notified and help will be on its way.
