Looking after multiple staff with high & low level lone working risks can be a difficult task. What is it?

Accessed via The O.W.L, landline, mobile phone or smartphone, LONEALERT Access is a simple, cost effective solution to benefit lower risk roles within this sector.

How it can work?

A hospice worker spends time with patients in their own homes. The patients, and their families are well known to them and pose little risk. However there is no means for their manager to identify if they have arrived and left each appointment without calling them, which is not possible as they work all hours. Using their phones the workers create a count-down timer for the length of their appointment – whether this is 2 hours or 12 hours. By using the O.W.L, their manager can see that they have arrived and logged in, and out. Should they fail to log-out an alarm will be raised, or the panic button can be pressed.

LONEALERT Instant:

What is it?

The Instant solution includes all products within the LONEALERT Access range, and adds access via a range of dedicated devices. GPS equipped with fall detection, panic and one button timer creation.

How it can work?

Julie, a Community Nurse, has a varied round and her patient list changes regularly. She is never sure what is on the other side of the door. With her Instant device attached to her ID badge, belt or in pocket, the O.W.L knows where she is, so if Julie needs to press a panic button, or the fall detector is activated, help will be sent to her location.

LONEALERT Plus:

What is it?

Plus includes LONEALERT Access, and all the safety features of Instant, but adds high durability, IP67 rated devices, with LCD screen for improved user feedback and advanced notifications, with Bolt-Ons for indoor locating workers. Also includes an ATEX intrinisically safe option if required.

How it can work?

A technician is working alone in a lab. Having picked up their Plus on the way out of the changing room, the RF-Tag is swiped they enter the lab, recording their location with the O.W.L. In the event of an accident, the alarm is raised and help will be provided with the exact location of the technician.

What is it?

Including all products within the LONEALERT Access range, the Anywhere solutions is great for those who work in outdoor areas with very limited mobile signal.

How it can work?

The Health Service is in an area notorious for having extremely poor mobile signal. Anywhere devices are provided to community staff, so even without mobile signal they can log-in and out of LONEALERT with GPS locations and raised a panic alarm.
